Tube Stomach – It is the cutting of the stomach along the long axis of the stomach during surgery and turning it into a tube. Thus, the stomach, which can grow to a volume of 1500cc when eaten before, can only take one tenth of that after the operation. It is the most known method in Bariatric Surgery.

Thus, a new pathway is opened for bile produced in the liver.

Mini Bypass

In this surgery, the stomach is made into a thin tube. The small intestines, on the other hand, are added to the newly formed thin stomach at a distance of about 2 meters from the place where it connects to the stomach. The stomach volume that can be used after cutting is approximately 80-90 cc. After the operation, the patient can eat a very small amount of food. Since the small intestine is connected 2 meters away, some of the food eaten cannot be absorbed. In this way, weight is lost.

Combined Surgery

It has been the most preferred method for the last two years. It is performed by fusing two different obesity surgeries. Thus, while the benefit from the surgery is maximized, the risks are minimized.
